Course Introduction
This course mainly introduces the characteristics, processing methods, and assembly methods of relevant materials in piano manufacturing. It can help students apply handicraft theory to analyze and solve piano tuning and repair problems, and have practical foundations for assembling and rebuilding pianos, laying a certain operational foundation and theoretical reserve for future piano manufacturing and artistic antique piano reconstruction.
Course Objectives
√ 1. Define and describe the basic concepts of handicrafts, and demonstrate basic practical methods.
√ 2. Proficient in using at least five common handicraft techniques and applying them to practical projects.
√ 3. Improve manual skills through practical experience and possess certain design and innovation abilities.
